I've had this big box and I remember the day I purchased the game and how excited I was.. I know, it's a long time ago that physical games were like this but that they vanish completely just makes me sad..

QTP with a game you played when you were... -10 yrs old: 1992 - Super Mario World 🍓 -20 yrs old: 2002 - Eternal Darkness 🌑 -30 yrs old: 2012 - Mass Effect 3 🚀

I can't wait for GTA 6 to finally drop. Not because I actually want to play it (opposite, actually), but so everyone can finally stop losing their minds over it...

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

Why do people always complain? Some years ago, people complained about the lack of 3rd party support on a Nintendo console, now we've got tons of games and yet people complain because of the lack of exclusives.. we'll get OoT within this year and people also complain.. I am tired of it 🤷

My thoughts on the next God of War: I do like the look and the gameplay looks like a ton of fun. But, it kinda makes the GoW Reboots less tragic..

Don't know what to think about the DQ 12 reveal.. also,I gues the DQ11 Switch 2 Version will not be available as patch for the owners of the Switch version..

Baldur’s Gate 3 is easily one of the greatest stories of the last decade. Astarion alone makes it worth it. Turn-based combat might be a hurdle for some, but this game is a mandatory experience. A flawless 10/10 that I will keep replayability forever. 🐉✨ #BG3

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 16/04/2026

Just wrapped Resident Evil 9 on Switch 2! 🧟‍♂️ It’s a technical marvel—looks and plays beautifully. Preferred Grace’s high-tension horror over Leon’s action-heavy segments. Raccoon City dragged a bit with the bomb parts, but it’s still one of the series' best. 8.5/10. #RE9 #ResidentEvil #Switch2

Just finished Dragon Quest VII (Remake) on Switch 2! 🎮 A solid 7/10. It’s a well-made remake, but it lacks the depth and drama of FFVII. Great for a "cozy grind," but the storytelling didn't leave a lasting impression. #DragonQuest #JRPG #Gaming

Funny to see how opinions drift apart from the journalists and the audience..

Just watched the Mario Galaxy Movie with my kids, had a ton of fun and I do not understand the mixed or even bad reviews. Yes the story is thin but what do the people expect? It's Mario, it's fun and fanservice, not a Shakespearean Drama... For me it's a 7.5 out of 10, and two thumbs up

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 18/03/2026

Okay yeah that Switch 2 22.0 update is indeed a big deal 🤯 and I don't understand why Nintendo doesn't promote it more.. well, "more" is the wrong word as they didn't promote it at all...

Look what I've got.. 🤓

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 26/02/2026

What is more important, better graphics or the possibility to play RE9 on the go... I am more intruiged by the Switch2 version as my PS5 collects dust since I own the Switch 2... 🧐

Timeline cleanse. Teenage crush? Scarlett Johansson (Lost in Translation)

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 30/01/2026

Games I wish I could erase from my memory so I could experience them again for the first time!

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 14/01/2026

Well you can clearly tell, when I purchased my Switch 2...

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 13/01/2026

Everyone is talking about Zelda's 40th anniversary but there's a winged hero, that also has his 40th.. I hope we see you again Pit in a new adventure, not just in Super Smash Bros..

Almost through Metroid Prime 4 and I actually quite enjoy it. The other humans don't bother that much, the visuals are just amazing, great soundtrack.. yes the gameplay is pretty much straight forward but with my limited time as an adult I am ok with it. I rate it 8 out of 10..

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 17/11/2025

Week one through of owning my Switch 2.. I am quite happy about the device and the games so far. DK is just pure joy and totk feels like a new game. And yes I also like MK world although I haven't played it online yet..

It's been a while since my last post. So, now I would continue with my top 100 list of games, in no particular order: Outcast was back then a masterpiece in world-building, I even bought a new PC just because of this game. Sadly it wasn't a success (no wonder because of its hardware in hunger)..

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 05/09/2025

So I've started with the Silksong.. I've to admit that I've never finished Hollow Knight, so I am not as hyped as many others out there but it makes fun in the fist 1 1/2hrs..

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 28/08/2025

Just about to finish this one with my girlfriend, it is still a gem and the backtracking is also still a pain in the arse..

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 26/07/2025

Next Game from my best-100-List in no particular order is Banjo-Kazooie. Beautiful graphics, hilarious characters and with the click clock wood one of the best 3d-jump'n'run level ever.. It is in my opinion even better than Mario 64.

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 25/07/2025

The game today from my personal top-100-list, in no particular order is Secret of Evermore. Don't know how often I finished this game but it was a lot.. I really loved the world and the idea of "timetravel", shame it hadn't more success..

RIP Ozzy, the world has lost another legend.. thank you for your awesome music with Black Sabbath.

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 20/07/2025

Next from my 100-best games it's quite a obvious choice for someone in my age. It is Mario 64, my good lord that was such a crazy experience when I've first saw it running in a store. That jump from 2D to 3D was so magical, so impressive and so much fun collecting all 120 stars ⭐

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 19/07/2025

And already Game No.10, in no particular order, of my Best-100. It is A link to the past, still a gem among the Zelda-Games or among all Games in general tbh..

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 19/07/2025

So my pick of today is a Xeno-Game, before Xenoblade there was Xenogears. Another Classic that would deserve a Remake. Weird Story, great soundtrack. Square made just better games as Squaresoft before they became Square-Enix..

Andy @andys-snaps.bsky.social · 18/07/2025

My pick for today is Final Fantasy 6 or 3 in the US. Personally, for me it is still the peak of FF, it has the best story and the best party with the most sinister villain. Everything was and still is amazing about this game, I mean, you can suplex a train... and you can play as a yeti..

140 4

The next pick is a "legend" on the NES, don't know how often I finished this game but it was a lot, no more words needed.. here it is: Ducktales

000 0

Next up I would like to pick Chrono Cross, it's not as good as Trigger but it was more than a solid JRPG with so many playable characters (ok most of them are totally useless..), great soundtrack and pretty graphic.

040 4

Next up in my Game-List is Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the cursed King on PS2 🤴 What a joy this game was and for me it has, from modern DQ, the best Story and the most loveable characters, definitely two thumbs up!

000 0

just curious if anyone's out there who also enjoy chips with chopsticks? if so, do you also feel superior while eating? 😬

000 0

As promised, another "peak"-Game in my "Best-Games-Ever"-List, here we've got Super Metroid, until this day the best 2D-Metroid in my humble opinion..

Next up I pick Contra 3 or as we in Europe called it: Super Probotector 😬 tbh I like the robot-design more than the Rambo-Lookalike.. What a beatiful 16-Bit era action-fest but gosh was that a tough one.. I have to admit that without the action replay I wouldn't see the end-credits..
