I'm in just a little bit of a holding pattern. Effectively left my job to be with Goatfuck Canuck while we wait for my residency on the Canadian side of things. Hopefully news soon because I'll get way more antsy if I haven't seen an update until after my master's commencement in a few weeks.

I'm absolutely in love with this Ko-Fi sketch from @freyadraws.bsky.social of Lucas. I was asked by a friend after if Lucas ever wears a shirt and the general impression I have with how I've designed him is no.

Lucas, anthro Amazon wood lizard, standing shirtless in yellow shorts, white hat, white and cyan sweatband, with teal and black tennis racket nodding to camera.

Officially just under one month until the wedding. I cannot express enough happiness, excitement, or nerves for it, and also immense gratitude and appreciation for the goat in this because the wedding isn't just a union, but also his coming out story outside of the fandom. It's an act of bravery.

Sounds like just an alternate name for spring rolls. And they do very often look wild when wrapped.

The state of my mental health can always be tracked at a glance in two ways: How long are my fingernails? How many days/weeks/months ago is the last game played in my League of Legends match history? A new challenger arrived today: Will I reinstall Heroes of the Storm?

I'm now 28. This comes with the positives of gifts and food to offset getting older. It also comes with the negative of me receiving a wave of birthday wishes from every corporate entity I've made an account with. Most of these wishes are arriving with my dead name.

We did get the ceremony date confirmed and suit rentals and such are locked in. Just have to vibrate the next month and change away until the wedding day.

It's me, slut shaming myself when I pulled up my sleeve for my surgeon to check that my elbow was healing properly to reveal the collection of bruises and scratch marks from this past weekend.

000

AndyOAM @andyoam.bsky.social · 02/10/2023

Also this past weekend marked some official stuff for it, but I clocked somewhere around 26 hours of driving, stumbled around some hiking trails, and carried some of my cooking savvy into the camp site, but goat BF is officially my fiance. A short eloping sort of ceremony is coming next month.

We have a Patreon piece coming in this month from @oriont.bsky.social of my lizard Lucas wrapping his wrist to keep it from overstraining. I definitely am not especially enamored by the little Lacoste gator.

The conclusion to the little trip with goat coming down to see me a few weeks ago is that we're now planning a second, smaller trip for me to see him so we can go camping and get our marriage license. Just a few months away from diving into this next stage.

I would have to wonder just a bit. I know I've seen a few of them around by now. Maybe some competition~

I would love one day at work that getting fired from my job isn't the best case scenario for my mental health.

Also, another artpiece of Ikba from @caasiaxort.bsky.social . This one depicts the cardinal out in the garden, and I've definitely grown partial to being a bit more open about the body, so this feels like a nice wink.

AndyOAM @andyoam.bsky.social · 06/09/2023

All of my stress left my body from the week with BF. He took my soul and a ghost home with him, I've taken his clumsiness and bad luck. Would've been a perfect experience if he didn't lose his phone and my mother didn't pry and ask who was on top completely unprompted as soon as I spoke to her.

@oriont.bsky.social Up next is Marked at Birth, following Marcus the dzo as he grapples with the circumstances of his birth leaving him infertile in a world that heavily educates against and discriminates against hybrids. He seeks affirmation and perfection to try to outrun the negative perception.

More art by @oriont.bsky.social The story takes place 30 some years into the future where a new generation has found themselves navigating a world where the conflict has become largely invisible to them but each of them have become pawns in the political remains.

It's a thread of @oriont.bsky.social 's concept art for me. I have two novel concepts that I've been working through. The first is Severed. In the aftermath of the king's assassination, his advisors and knights went into conflict over accusations. His advisors took control and are stealing magic.

Spite education is a wild ride. I could've spent more time figuring out a discipline, maybe, but I think the end results were altogether pretty okay.

Shout-out to my ex that I broke up with for asking if I intended to make anything of myself or if I'd just be reliant on his inherited wealth. It made me angry enough that I got my bachelor's which turned into me very recently finishing my master's. It made me mad then, but it paved way for change.

I had first gotten connected to the fandom around 2009-2010 because I had ended up writing a -lot- of Star Fox fanfic on FFN. I actually met several people there that were -also- people writing romance between Fox and Wolf as teenagers around my age and then I found out there was a fandom for that.

Tresh Levett, a dingo who is blunt but attentive. He generally cares to learn more about others but finds himself soft-spoken. The original design is by coolsamsc and the YCH and stripping pieces are by BGN. He was intentionally designed to allow me to explore and understand more about my heritage.
