I am super excited to meet up with a preschool class for @skypeascientist.bsky.social today!! Not sure what that probabilities are (I am guessing low), but I just found out that out of the thousands of possible pairings, I get to visit my sister's classroom thousands of miles away!!

not that i expected better from Purdue… but as an Queer student of color who has gotten harassed countless of times while at Purdue, the spineless ending of DEI efforts is still a stab to the heart

Nymphia Wind’s #dragrace step down look is one of my all time favorites. Not only does it look STUNNING but it is also a love letter to Taiwan’s ecosystems and endemic species!!! Behind her is Taiwan’s now-extinct formosan clouded-leopard, and on her chest is another endemic: Mikado Pheasant.

S17 winner nymphia wind’s stepdown look. she is wearing white and there is a cloud surrounding her. there is a clouded leopard behind her, and golden accents all over the white dress

everyone look at this jewelry organizer my friend made for me 🥹🥹🥹

A handmade pottery jewelry organizer in the shape of a mola mola (ocean sunfish). the glaze is light green and there are necklaces, and earrings hanging off of hooks around the fish’s body. there’s also three dishes for rings!

My favorite find has to be the Mikado pheasants I saw in Taiwan with my dad — one of Taiwan’s national birds

after trump won the presidency of the US by (partially) campaigning to hurt the trans and queer communities, this #LGBTQSTEMday feels extra important. no matter what, i’m still queer, i’m still doing science 🌈🧪🧬
