Thunder has been extra friendly and bouncy tonight. She just ran down my leg and used my foot as a ramp, then did wall jumps off of my dresser, then my side table, before disappearing under the bed, in one swift movement She's so much fun to watch. I wish it wasn't so hard to video her antics 🐭💨 😂

Some plates got broken in my room a few days ago and I ended up having to move around most of the furniture to be CERTAIN that I had cleaned up EVERY single bit of it. The last thing I would want is a chance she might roll in ANY of it. But judging by how bouncy that critter is, she approves of it 🥰

We were forecasted to have severe thunderstorms in my area earlier this afternoon, that don't seem like they're going to materialize, and my GF said that it doesn't thunder at 1pm. I said, "You look my chinchilla in the face and say that!" 🌩️🐭🌩️

My goodness I love this little critter. Chinchillas are so much fun to watch race around, but my favourite part is when she stops to say hi to me while she's got the zoomies, and also when her whiskers and fluffies tickle my face as she flies past me when she zips and bounces off ALL the things 🥰🐭

Thunder has been camping out underneath this chair pretty well every time I let her out for play time lately. It took me a bit to find her the first few times, but now I just reach underneath the chair with both hands and scoop her up whenever she pulls her disappearing act in my room 😅🐭🫥

Hmm. We lost power in my part of the city about an hour ago due to a short storm, and it could be a few hours until it comes back on. Thunder will be fine, the temperature outside was about 20°C when the storm started, and it'll be dropping until tomorrow morning but backup plans are ready if needed

My girlfriend brought her kids over to meet Thunder for the first time, after we went to the local Pride Parade today. They visibly melted when their brains were processing just how SOFT she was, it was adorable to watch. Thunder says "Happy Pride, everyfuzzy!" 🥳🐭🌈💖
