Andy Fitzgerald @andyfitzgerald.bsky.social · 06/03/2025Generative AI is good at producing content tagging outputs that "look" right ... but do they meet user goals? And are they any better than what we can already accomplish with less problematic approaches? Here's an experiment that explores those questions.andyfitzgeraldconsulting.comAI Supported Auto-CategorizationA comparison of manual, NLP, and LLM-based tagging methods and key takeaways for effective tagging approaches. 071
Andy Fitzgerald @andyfitzgerald.bsky.social · 12/02/2025Too often, well-intentioned taxonomy solutions never fully make it to the systems they're meant to serve. Don't let this be your fate! Andy Fitzgerald @andyfitzgerald.bsky.social · 31/01/2025Taxonomies should be designed with clearly defined goals and use cases, right? Obvious as this is, it's a step many orgs gloss over—with frustratingly mixed outcomes as a result.
