No I don’t think I have. I’ve just finished Nonesuch by Francis Spufford. Would recommend. Set in the Blitz in London but also about magick.

I read Proust at 23. Took six months. And Maupin at 33. Currently reading Andrew Sean Greer ‘Less is Lost’ sequel to his Pulitzer prizewinning ‘Less’. I like recommendations though and have made a note.

Sometimes it’s just a bit bland. I had a very tasteless pasta dish the other night but the dolmades were fantastic as was any of the lamb dishes. The wines are amazing too.

I just asked @patrickcaines.bsky.social what the best part of the day had been. The boat, the volcanoes, the islands, the Greek architecture? No. It was judging other people. 😂 I love him.
