I imagine the grip helps a lot… those pens are slippery!

Thanks for the info and link! Great to hear that the protector helps with the writing feel! :)

Anyone here use either those rubbery Apple Pencil tips or a matte screen protector? I would love to use my iPad for art more, but find the slippy screen difficult. If I can make it feel more like my Wacom tablet, I will be happy. Suggestions welcome! #Apple #Procreate #iPad #Wacom #Art

Morning! I discovered yesterday that the community coffee shop that I occasionally work from supports Pay-It-Forward. They even have a donation page on their site for it. I love awesome stuff like that ♥️ #Freelance #PayItForward #Coffee ☕

Back home again, but this was a nice spot to work from for a few hours. #WFH #Freelance #Coffee #iPad #CoffeeShop

Well, it’s been virtually the only game I played for the last 5 years, but this means fuck you and bye, Fortnite.

That's fair enough! I think you've encountered the same problem I have with PVP... they are usually by mega companies like EPIC who are only interested in profits.

Speaking of Indie single player... have you played Spilled? It's a really awesome game... short enough to complete in one session. Great developer story behind it too. Mac/Switch en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spilled!

Yeah, my son quit Duolingo for the same reason... he's 11, and he gets it! Why are so many people blinkered to this issue though? It's like they are under some kind of toxic capitalistic spell. I really do think many people will switch to physical creativity because of this AI slop shitshow.

Get a Switch if you don't have one, and Splatoon 3. Cute, great maps, fun mechanics. Not free but at least it's Nintendo and not Epic

IKR, what an asshole. If he doesn't support human creators, I'm not going to support his company. I don't understand why these companies don't think kind of attitude won't come back and bite them. I've pretty much given up with AAA studios now. Indie creators/devs/studios are where it's at.

Dude nobody talks about how hard it is to lose love for your comfort hobby/ OC like it’s so fucking devastating its like losing a limb, a part of yourself that you were able to explore in a safe environment when real life couldn’t give you that.

Remember, artists: when people say, “I’d buy a print of this,” they don’t mean it. That sentence itself is just a weird compliment that rarely converts to an actual print sale. It’s like if someone ate a very good hot dog and then said, “I could eat 10,000 of these right now.”

Oh nice! Blueberries 🫐 are the best!

So, 5kg of Jasmine Rice has lasted me for 46 days. I think that's ok for three people! That's a lot of Curries, Kimchi Bokeumbap and Tofu Fried Rice! #Food #Rice

Morning! I think I've found the best breakfast ever. Jumbo Rolled Oats, Alpro Oat Milk (No Sugar), topped with Strawberries, and a milled Flaxseed, Sunflower, Pumpkin & Chia Seeds & Goji Berries mix, and a few drops of Maple Syrup 😋 #Vegan #Breakfast
