Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 10/03/2026Hmm I got 0.0033, I guess a lot depends on the screen, angle, contrast, brightness etc 011
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 25/11/2025Patriot, not that many people saw it. First series was perfect. The second was its last for the very good reason it was abysmal. 110
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 24/11/2025I got an LG OLED C3 last year. I'd got a Samsung first but sent it back due to a fault and glad I did. LG interface so much better, Samsung was full of ads. Pic quality excellent, does Dolby Vision HDR that everyone uses (Samsung didn't). An external sound system/sound bar is a must. 000
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 06/11/2025Surely would be referred eg Sales arms of both ITV and Sky are big (less about the ad share of their channels but the sales houses themselves). News provision could be hard to resolve (ITV owning 40% of ITN) and Ofcom surely wanting a plurality of news providers. Also complicated if Comcast get WBD. 100
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 30/06/2025Given their rose tinted liking for the 50s and dislike of modern times, they should surely be Reverse UK 000
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 22/04/2025We passed the giant bird and his group up near Lofthouse in Nidderdale on Saturday and it really was a very impressive costume. 010
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 11/02/2025That was just based on power running costs too, not the massive outlay and servicing. Best was the punter saying the tea tasted worse too, bet that really riled them up. All from the excellent ‘sliced bread’ programme/podcast. 010
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 07/02/2025Can I go one better and have first and second names? 2270
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 23/01/2025That’s the ford at Fore Gill Gate near Surrender Bridge. Lovely area full of history. 010
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 04/01/20256’ 5” here and get asked now and again, always politely. Love doing it and breaks up a relatively dull activity. 030
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 04/01/2025I gave up on Times Radio a while back. Some specific presenters and shows (weekend especially) allow their commentators go unchallenged, rather like the newspaper. TR have always amplified fringe views, many in the Covid days, shame as their output was originally a refreshing change. 100
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 15/11/2024Early adapter here too. Actually bought the box full price then ITV (Granada then) offered £100 subsidy for staff and retrospectively gave me a cheque for £100 back. I remember we spent a good while making sure Heartbeat was TXd in the right aspect ratio but I’m not sure anyone was watching. 100
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 15/11/2024Not just you, broken for me too, having to watch on firesky.tv 000
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 01/11/2024Well that was a bit of class in a sea of dirge #totp 130
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 04/10/2024#totp New rule. I’m calling cha cha cha to end this now. #chachacha 010
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 16/09/2024Those steps and rickety railings are a bit of a challenge going up though, especially when there’s people barging through coming down. Even with a fear of heights it’s worth it, stunning at the top. 110
Andy Biggs @andybiggs.bsky.social · 12/09/20241p mobile seems to be the best kept secret around. Best coverage with EE, bargain prices, good dashboard online and even has Visual Voicemail now. 110
