Busted! The dogs' toys have been disappearing from the garden. I suspected who the culprits were, now captured on film. Actually, I love the idea of the foxies playing with these :-) (Video shows a nighttime shot of a fox running across the screen with a ball in its mouth)

Me and the dogs might need to become nocturnal next week. I see lots of very late night walks to avoid the worst of the hot temperatures. This is not normal.

Bunny was on her best behaviour as we sat and had a spot of lunch at Coate Water Country Park.

Finally got a decent photo of one of the large red damselflies who's been in the garden recently. Not quite as impressive as the dragonflies, but still things of beauty.

One advantage of dog walking after sunset to avoid the heat is the extra wildlife you meet.

Your regular reminder: This isn't normal. But yeah, let's keep sacrificing our world on the altar of growth so the millionaires and billionaires keep getting richer.

Had a lovely chat with a dog walker on my way around, wishing us good luck. Lots of support in this area! Now to vote and have breakfast before the Get Out The Vote campaign starts in earnest!!

A lot of us green party folk aren't your typical politicians. I always forget to be *in* the photo. But you see so many staged photos, maybe it's better that I'm not one of *those* politicians. Here's the after photo of the brook once we'd cleared all the junk out of it (tyre, till! (empty), etc.)

Thinking of voting #Reform in Swindon? Listen to their spokesperson, parachuted in from Trowbridge. His answer to everything is the big private investors, and developers who have been bleeding Swindon dry. We would bring services back in house under our control. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

NHS Blood and Transplant do a great job of engaging with donors, whoever thought of showing folk where their blood ends up is a genius. Their staff at the sharp end are also brilliant. Karen did a great job tracking down an elusive vein earlier this month, but she likes a challenge. #GiveBlood

I reckon I've got at least 40 newts in my garden. The slimy little suckers won't keep still so I can count them though.

This year I've branched out from growing trees into cuttings for the garden.🌱 This is one of half a dozen cuttings from this plant, all sprouting !One will be destined for the Celtic circle over at HBUF. Can you tell what it is yet? 🙂 (For clues: hbuf.org/our-celtic-t...)
this is a photo of a woody plant cutting in a plant pot. there's a budged emerging from the top of the cutting

Labour must be so proud. Their years of failing to stand up for migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers are really paying off. They're finally getting recognised by the people whose support they've been working so hard to win over.

After spotting a dragonfly visiting my pond to try and lay its eggs, I decided to help it along. I've scoured the garden for bits of rotten wood to plant in the pond and this is the rather wonderful result.

Bunny doesn't like to get her feet muddy methinks...
A photo of my back garden at night. Where once there was a lawn is now a sea of mud. Amid the mud stands Bunny the lurcher, perching on a tree trunk to avoid the dirt, her white fur illuminated by the security lights.
