My issue with electric cars isn’t the car itself, or the charging. It’s the insurance. I live in Southern California, insurance is ridiculous here, and for electric cars is much more than a gas powered one. I bought a 2025 Corolla hybrid SE, and my payment is $518/m + $327/m for insurance.

Another reason why I’m waiting for TOS 7, is because it’s supposed to be more open than TOS 6, based on Ubuntu, and will allow you to install packages and things from the terminal instead of their proprietary App Store which has EXTREMELY outdated apps.

I recently bought a #Thinkpad E14 (first gen) for $165… and a replacement battery. Last night I swapped the battery and installed a 2TB 990 pro ssd I had laying around. I also flashed my first #Linux distro on a laptop that I plan to use and learn, I want to have a computer that I can do whatever.

I now have a citation for wrapped plates, and also “illegal” window tint… 😑 It’s stupid cause the “legal” tint doesn’t do anything to block sunlight, and also people like to start where at red lights. It’s a fixit ticket. If I weren’t for the plates I wouldn’t gotten away with the tint.

I once started to feel my arms tingly in my sweater, then it started to get painful. Did some research and turns out a headache-less migraine was causing allodynia. It’s pretty strange and interesting how migraines are vastly different across all people and symptoms. No wonder it can’t be studied.

So… the iPhone 17 pro is objectively the worst iPhone as of late. The aluminum is easily damaged, even with a case the edge of my phone is no longer even from a fall… The the placement of the flash is otrocious. Photos aren’t illuminated properly at all. #apple #iphone17pro
