andy alexander @andyalexander.bsky.social · 12/07/2026Another amazing iNav in the books. You know a conference is excellent when you get back and want to go into lab on a Sunday. Amazing views in Banff and a strong contingent of current and former UCSB Navigation folks! 050
andy alexander @andyalexander.bsky.social · 03/04/2026Excellent talk from Kei Igarashi in the @ucsantabarbara.bsky.social PBS Neuroscience and Behavior seminar series today. Covered olfactiory circuits, associative learning, and Alzheimer's disease. Awesome data! @ucirvine.bsky.social 1130
andy alexander @andyalexander.bsky.social · 09/10/2025First freely moving 2p recording in the lab! It's crazy how hard I fought to record from a few hundred cells across all of my PhD/postdoc experiments. Elise just did that in one mouse. 3330
andy alexander @andyalexander.bsky.social · 23/11/2024Very fun to have my PhD advisor Doug Nitz visit us today at UCSB. Not as fun to be surprised with this 15 year old photo of me on one of his slides. 1170
andy alexander @andyalexander.bsky.social · 05/10/2024Come check out the first posters from our lab at SfN24! I'll also be representing UC Santa Barbara Neuroscience at the graduate fair. If you are interested in pursuing a PhD at a top-notch research institute that also has a surf spot on campus come say hi. #neuroskyence #neuroscience 060
andy alexander @andyalexander.bsky.social · 11/11/2023#SfN23 bound! Excited to catch everyone in DC. Our lab (alexander.psych.ucsb.edu) is recruiting at all levels so if you are interested in a position I'd be happy to touch base. Below is a plane snap of the Santa Ynez mtns in SB (just as stunning as the beach if you ask me). #neuroskyence 131
