Heading over to #emfcamp tomorrow, where I'll be running a family coding workshop with the Retro Arcade from @elecfreaks.bsky.social. (and also the @microbit.org escape room on Saturday PM!). Come and say hello at the Foundry Zero village!

Booked my ticket for @big-stem-network.bsky.social and will also be speaking this year! I’ll be joining Pete from Kings College and a few others talking about using the @microbit.org for teaching coding. I will also be bringing along the escape room kit for folk to have a go!

Some of the kids had a go at the @microbit.org escape room today at the Bishops Cleeve CoderDojo. It was nice to get it out of the box again, it’s been too long! @codeclub.bsky.social

Visiting @raspberrypiorg.bsky.social HQ was a great experience, but did leave me wanting one of their fancy mugs! Finally caved last week and ordered one of my own 😋🫖

Took my new @pimoroni.com Presto along to CoderDojo today, and helped a couple of the kids make a cool little game.

Our YouTube channel now has 16 subscribers! It’s not the biggest number I’ll admit, but I’m still proud of this small milestone and very grateful for the support. Let’s see how quickly we can get to 32!

Back from a wonderful weekend at #ClubsCon24 in Cambridge, meeting Code Club educators from around the world. Listened to inspiring talks and got the chance to show off my escape room. But the best bit was meeting so many awesome people! Thank you @raspberrypiorg.bsky.social !

The code club community gathered at the start of the conference.

Working on my activity for EmPower today - kids will be learning about the human side of cyber by attempting to steal the Secret Recipe from the Curious Chicken Shop 🐔 They'll have a go at social engineering and open source research. It will hopefully be good fun as well as educational!
