Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Holy crap I just organised my hobby desk for the next project. 😱 0100
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Very productive week in the hobby. 6 death guard and a war hound. Painted, based and now varnished. Who’d have thought I’d be spray varnishing outside on 1/10/2026. Currently 18 degrees of sunshine 😱 0161
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Application, took a bit to load the tip. Instructions are minimal. Application is very easy, great for edge highlighting as you use the side of the brush. Dots good as no tip spread. It’s a bit big to squeeze into small spaces. Definitely like you can paint none stop. Useful on a big model. 👍 091
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 01/10/2026So I bought one of these speed markers at Brit Con. interested in how it covers but more importantly how it lasts. Can you use it infrequently? Will it just dry up ?? Date stamp 1/10/26 220
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Sometimes you just have to stop and walk a way for a bit. 010

Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 28/09/2026I’m in the process of switching to army painter any way. 000
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 28/09/2026It’s a strange angle to sell your paints on. Too much pigment for me. 100

Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Going to stop painting these three now and do some more. 1473
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 26/09/2026I’d have to agree. Every now and again you find a little gem. I’d like to recommend bullet train with Brad Pitt 👍 120
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 25/09/2026Watched all of that. My three were Andor, ted lasso (my daughter made me) community which was brilliantly written and US office (my son forced me to) 240
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Thank you for the reply. I’ll message him. Safe travels 010
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Not quite finished but that’s as much as I can do today. 010
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Lindsay, did different legions have different crests? Colours ? Horse hair over feathers ? What sources are there for these ?? (Is this one for Murray to discuss?) 100
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 24/09/2026I have a small collection to work through and use them to ignite my hobby mojo. 010
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 24/09/2026Not painted anything for a while so to get back into it “paint something you want to paint”. 030
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Apparently jacket patatoes explode if you don’t fork them. Or they had aliens in them and their is something hiding in the kitchen 😳 020
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 20/09/2026I did think they would change the bottles too with this relaunch but I think it’s too much of brand recognition to move on for them. If they have renamed all the paints that will be a complete bastard to work out. 010
Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Yesterday we spent the day at St Michael’s mount. Finished we an exceptional meal at Newlyn bay. Highly recommend Tolcarne Inn. 030

Andy Shaw @andy-shaw.bsky.social · 17/09/2026I think a lot depended on where they had come from. If from North Africa they would be Kaki but if from Australian I think green helmets and hats. Read the Kakoda trail a while ago so might be wrong 140
