Sorry about the barrage of political posts lately I'm just- Overwhelmed with a lot of it. I know that usually its just one evil versus a lesser evil and thats why I stay out of either party. Its just surreal to live in the times we do. Maybe reminding myself of history makes me feel less alone.

I am slowly but surely learning godot- still haven't decided on a software for making art and assets though yet. 🤔 And ideas for TNT Part 2 are already stirring and once I figure out dialogue that'll be fun to get in to!

Playtesting is so very good and useful. I think I really had to come to terms with the idea that players need to be directed. I always felt like I was talking down to people by doing that but it amazed me how many times Id think "well obviously they would think to do this" and it just did not occur

This is the third job interview I've gone to where one of the interviewers brought up Ai and as we talked about it they tried to convince me Ai was actually super cool and good that it was disrupting my art and animation and music and voiceacting aspersions 😮‍💨

I've gotten back in to Overwatch because Marvel Rivals feels like a mess and honestly my biggest complaint is the sprays system. There is no way to sort by character so if you miss something after you just got it good luck panning through EVERY spray in the whole game to find it. #overwatch

Does anyone know how to make paths that can move in godot? Basically I wanted to do kind of like lane based enemy movement like in PVZ but have them shift over if there's something blocking their way. Maybe some kind of enemy types that break through walls too, we shall see! 🤷‍♂️ #godot #godothelp

I think its so dumb we live in the year 2026 and we still can't make flashdrives that don't run the risk of corruption if you don't unplug them when your PC shuts off automatically. Sometimes I need to take breaks from staring at a screen! 😮‍💨

Something that kind of makes me mad is how like every cookbook themed after a franchise is always just a normal recipe that's renamed something whimsical.😡 Can't you have the meat cut in to fun shapes or food dye to make it purple or something? Not "Dragon's Salmon" and its literally just salmon.

Its working! My free game is functional and I'll be dropping it in a few days! Im calling it a "demo" but it is essentially the first half of the game! Thank you to everyone with even a passing interest. I'm just trying to patch up at least the worst of the bugs before getting it out!

SO many redos and rewrites of my game. I need the playtesting. Part of the game in the middle is still kind of wonky but I added the ability to wait at the Tavern so the game is completable! Right now I am making an effort to just get it out, fixes will come. Perfectionism be damned.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa I was given a really good idea on how to possibly save my game and found out that apparently my flashdrive port keeps disconnecting and reconnecting so- now buying a new one! Hopefully by Monday I will have some news on if my game is salvagable 😮‍💨

When Overwatch is fun its fun but these battlepasses pretty much guarantee I just get worn out and delete the game a while after completing one. It legitimately feels like work at points and its not fun :/ so much hinges on fomo for the skins

I think Deadlock looks fun but matches typically lasting an hour or more? Nah. Maybe if they had shorter game modes but having something you can't pause for an hour (or lets be honest multiple) is just way too long.

I really wish Dead by Daylight had a beach level or something piratey for the houndmaster. Or just had a level on some cliffs near a sea or something. I know their maps have way more random generation than I'm used to in my own stuff.

"The Bear" started off so good- I was so hooked the first two seasons and then- well it just seems like they don't know what to do with the show so they drag out a bunch of the storylines in to episodes where the characters all sit around and talk... and the restaurant is barely brought up?
