Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 13/10/2026I didnt know what to expect from this...But it wasnt this I thought it was going to be a show, and that they were starting with Lion/witch/wardrobe But this is so much more interesting, and she is such a good director, Im stoked Need to reread the magician's nephew now youtu.be/gDJ-ini7fF0?...youtu.beNARNIA: THE MAGICIAN’S NEPHEW | Official Trailer | NetflixYouTube video by Netflix 000 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Bring back the deployers from Robots in Disguise! Fracture was a super cool design, and the cassettes could be saddle bags on his motorcycle 020 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Looks like the same basic articulation scheme as motu chronicles, which is great as I adore those figs He looks great, while it's not my go to batman look it'll be fun to watch the line 000 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I'm sorry... Why does he have a keytar? I'm not mad, just curious... And I need ir 000 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Yah this is a must get But there's always the gamble... How cheap can I get him? Ever single Retro release (except maybe for bumblebee) has gone on deep discount up here in Canada, so do I just grab him when I see him or risk the wait... Time to role then dice! 010 0

Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Feel like I keep seeing Dungeon Crawler Carl getting referred to as a Ready Player One alike, and it just isn't I get the series isn't perfect, or for everyone, but it doesn't deserve to catch those strays Feels like it's mostly people annoyed at its popularity just repeating clips posted online 020 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 08/10/2026It's a really genuine and surprisingly sincere series, in a way that random snippets posted online don't convey And yes, there is the occasional ghonorea arrow, but also reflections on parenthood and social inequality. I genuinely adored the series, and devoured the whole thing in 2 months 010 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 08/10/2026So... While I totally agree that Ready Player one is total dogshit, I will come to Dungeon Crawler Carl's defense I've seen a lot of people make the comparison and it's really nothing like ready player one as while there are reference and cringe humour it's never the point of the story 110 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Wait... I literally thought this was a gameverse fall of Cybertron shockwave... That says something I suppose 010 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I really liked that design, and still have and like the original figure... But after all the comics and followup games and such I got real sick of it real quick Surprised this is one they decided to bring back 110 0

Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 06/10/2026Is he taking a swing at the increased amount of electric lawn mowers? I mean, they're not any harder to use but with his little motion at the end I think this is supposed to be a pro gas tool thing, like with cars 010 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 06/10/2026I don't know much about ninjago, but it seems like they've done enough to hit both demographics. With new media and gimmicky sets that keep reinventing themselves each year for the kids, and big expensive "adult" sets for the older fans that seem to reference more original stuff 000 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Hot take - Rescue bots was the best thing transformers' has done in ages. My son has tons of them, and while not as chunky as paw patrol they'll still durable and simple enough to be good hack around toys for young kids And those were almost all new, cool charactersstatic.klipy.comRescue Bots Boulder: Animated AdventureALT: Rescue Bots Boulder: Animated Adventure 000 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Transformers big issue right now creativity wise is their kids stuff... Mostly sucks All the authentics and simple stuff is all flimsy, thin, expensive and falls apart Cyberworld is probably the best thing they've done in a while in this vain but it's still just too expensive, and a bit too fiddly 100 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 03/10/2026And it's all pretty classic stuff, lots of toy cars, dinosaurs, superheros (especially spidey), dolls The big one is really Paw Patrol, it's huge, and the toys are relatively cheap, chunky and affordable Also hot take, gimmick wise, Paw Patrol is just Mask for this generation 100 0
Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 03/10/2026So this is a take I see a lot, but now as a parent of toy kids I can confirm... kids are still WAY into toys. Videogames too, our house, as well as every friend and families house with kids we visit is covered in toys. 100 0

Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 03/10/2026He's not perfect (God I hate that they did the exposed version of the symbol in black instead of yellow) but yah... I kind of want it The absolute batman and Wonder woman comics are just so good 010 0

Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I LOVE this... First MP anything I've considered in, ages My only issue would be the head, as like others have said it feels a bit off to me, as it's just too plain for the rest of the body. Feel like going a bit more toy style would have worked, or tackle the wide skybound helmet 000 0

Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Honestly though, a straight TF movie, where the military has some vague GI joe themeing and names could be cool and a good way of testing the launching a gi joe movie, but it shouldn't be the focus or even part of the tf plot E.g., if John Cena's character in bumblebee was from gi joe, like that 030 0

Andurz Talks Hobbies @andurz.bsky.social · 01/10/2026This feels like the legacy tm2 Megs to me, as while I love that fig, the lack of the metallic blue shading from the original really hurts it imo I know it's more accurate to the show model in that way but..m give me a toy recolour please! 000 0
