PSA: From some listeners writing in, it seems as though there is a bug in the Level Lock+ Matter firmware that breaks Home Key supports. If you're an Apple Home user and use Home Key, I'd suggest holding off on the update til this gets resolved.

I'm starting to believe that we won't get any big Matter-enabled robovacs until March, when Apple launches its smart display. I wonder if Apple's gotten them to hold the updates to be featured launch partners. It wouldn't be surprising to see Anker (eufy), Roborock, & Ecovacs.

Long-term iPhone 16 Pro up on the YT channel! Reevaluating now that we’ve had two rounds of Apple Intelligence features in iOS 18.1 and iOS 18.2 (still in beta). Lots of thoughts on tweaks to Camera Control too! youtu.be/M24-kOc7nvY

So to upgrade the Level Lock+ to Matter you must fill out a form on their website to request the update and confirm you have a Thread border router and the necessary third party hub. I understand the apprehension, but this wasn’t clear at all how to do.
