Honestly didn’t see him going to Lidl-Trek and kinda hate that…for the team. They seem to gel really well together, have a real GC contender in Ciccone already, have a lot of other options for both classics and GTs, and could probably go w/o the drama of Ayuso #procycling #couchpeloton

If Ayuso is trying to get out of contract with UAE to sign with another team, I don’t see how his attitude or performance this Vuelta is going to help him. Would be much better for him to be a strong teammate and show his prowess than go for stage wins one day and then drop off the back the next

My 2-year old daughter just ran into the room with my copy of “The Death of Marco Pantani” by Matt Rendell and said “Marco, my best friend!” So proud and happy she’s moved on from Dora The Explorer to Il Pirata but I think the fact that the edition has a pink cover played a big role #couchpeloton
