Vita Vea against the Packers' interior o-line has the potential to be a war crime.

Not many are as calm cool and collected as @andrewmertig.bsky.social. Some might say we’re too optimistic. I’d argue that we’re just trying to hold onto what’s left of our sanity. Unfortunately, mine is collapsing quicker than the o-line.

Keisean Nixon absolutely no where to be found on the TD run.

I don’t like complaining about announcers. But Vilma is the worst commentator in the NFL by a mile.

Volson was my OT14 and OVR142 in 2022. Drafted 136th by Bengals. Big physical guy, who will excel in the run game. Balance and flexibility may be liabilities against better pass rushers. Going to have to win in passing game w/ technique. Double team and beat you player up in the run game.

Sorry, this is going to be a very long thread on the state of the Packers. First, the panic is wildly over the top right now. A loss on the road against a tough divisional opponent isn't the end of the world. The Seahawks and Patriots lost Week 1 last season. What is a lot more concerning?

Just be up 8 against a backup QB. Being aggressive doesn’t always mean going for it in dumb situations.

0110

Andrew Mertig @andrewmertig.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Super aggressive on 1st and 2nd, but not blitzing on 3rd down since Wentz entered the game. I’d like to see Gannon heat him up a bit.

040

Andrew Mertig @andrewmertig.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

What is Bullard supposed to do in that situation? Murray dives head first. Any tackle attempt at all is going to make contact to the head. That’s NEVER a penalty on a Running Back.

Kaleb Johnson was my RB5/OVR71 in 2025. Johnson stands out as a dynamic zone runner with excellent vision and decisiveness. He possesses an ideal combination of size and agility, making him a reliable workhorse for both inside and outside runs. (1/3)

Not having Balogun against Belgium because of the softest possible red card is so dumb.

Andrew Mertig @andrewmertig.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

If that's a penalty, then there should be 186 penalty shots in every match. Senegal getting absolutely screwed.

If USA finishes second in their group (realistic) and Iran finishes second in their group (also realistic), they would face off in the Round of 16 of the Men's World Cup on July 3.

In 2023 over in the bad place, I had the audacity to say trading a 2nd for Claypool was a terrible idea. A certain prominent Packers podcast host gave me the Family Guy "A 2nd Rd Pick could be anything... even Chase Claypool". That 2nd round pick turned into Jayden Reed.

Late December at Lambeau Field. Crucial division game. Packers need a 47 yard FG to win the game. After making the first attempt only to be blown dead from a timeout, the rookie kicker steps up and drills it right down the middle with room to spare. Akon's "Smack That" echoes throughout the stadium

Dani Dennis-Sutton was my 28th overall prospect in this class. Super athlete out of Penn State to learn from a super athlete out of Penn State. If he puts it together he’s a star. The value is incredible.

I only had 16 1st round grades, so it makes sense players would get over drafted. But there were 4 players drafted I had 3rd round grades on: RB Jadarian Price WR Omar Cooper Jr IOL Keylan Rutledge Edge Ahkeem Mesidor

My top rated prospects going into Round 2: 1. Edge TJ Parker 2. CB Jermod McCoy 3. CB Colton Hood 4. CB Brandon Cisse 5. LB CJ Allen 6. Edge Cashius Howell 7. Edge Dani Dennis-Sutton 8. G Chase Bisontis
