Supporting local businesses without relying on Meta to be a centralized bulletin board seems like it will be difficult. Most small business owners lack the bandwidth for yet another platform to keep updated. Why wouldn't they stay on the site that already has 75% of their customers hooked on it?

I have a lot of anxiety over fully leaving the Meta apps, but I increasingly feel uncomfortable over there with their policies. I think my biggest hangups are Facebook and Instagram being such a magnet for local businesses to share news and events with their supporters.

Learned a new game this week: Fromage, a game about French cheese production. A fun simultaneous worker placement game that feels like you're playing 4 mini games at once. Took about 45 minutes to play the first time.
