Popped up my memories today was when mom had to be rushed to the hospital last year. October 31,2024 one of our dachshunds, Rainier's brother Hemi passed away due to congestive heart failure. October 27, 2009 was when my colon perforated/exploded, had the emergency surgery.

Just didn't want to celebrate Halloween here this year, with last year being the time dealing with mom having cancer, in and out of the hospital before she passed away November 15th.

Well after some decisions and various issues impacting things, won't be going to New Orleans for Halloween. Maybe will be able to travel next year. Disappointed because I didn't want to spend Halloween here this year but it just didn't work out this year (also another trip didn't work out either)

Was walking Rory and Scotty this evening, while walking Scotty pulled out of his harness and ran all through the neighborhood, thankful to various folks who helped in trying to get him, especially the couple who didn't give up and followed, I was able to get him. Poor Harold is worn out.

Got good news today, Social Security sent me a letter saying after sending the review that filled out that they decided they won't be reviewing my disability at this time so still will be receiving my SSI.

Was a long wait to get into the Landers Center in Southaven to see Weird Al, only have one entrance caused a huge line that snaked the parking lot. Saw a kid who couldn't wait to get in to pee, go across the side street over to some grass, didn't go behind the trees or anything and pee.

Been dealing with health issues, first got sick with upper respiratory infection, while dealing with that ended up having to go to ER on Labor Day at 1 am, that caused stomach virus. Stuff left me with a UTI, on antibiotics for that now.

So taking a step down steroid has elevated my sugar levels so I contacted my endocrinologist and he messaged me to keep the Lantus the same unit but to increase my Novolog from 10 units to 12 units

Darn AI nurse they use to book appointments at nurse practitioner office, tells me something is available then goes to book it then suddenly it's unavailable. Very frustrating because no minor medical takes my insurance and this isn't something to go to the er/hospital for either.
