iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Subtitles that go missing in random segments of movies, commercials every few minutes in some cases, movies randomly starting over… And none of the solutions I’ve seen online work.

Tubi has such a great selection, but it’s far too buggy. The experience is so frustrating every time I use it.

This is great advice I follow as well.

Every single industry is picking people like this. It’s no wonder everything is going to shit🤦‍♂️

Yeah, exactly. I took your advice and decided to avoid it.

Yeah, in the end, that’s why I never created an account on letterboxd

Guys calling each other “sir”—ever since that became a thing in 2005 or whatever—has always fucking bugged me😂

Using “The Windmills of Your Mind” was a nice touch at the end. I just watched The Thomas Crown Affair, so that was fresh in my mind.

Not sure if that Drummond/elevator door bit was a nod to Infernal Affairs in Severance Season 2, but it felt like it

I know nothing about this project, but reading the article, this is the quote that really struck me. Yikes!

I think I read before that filming was to start soon, so I imagine it’s underway. I just finished season 1. Loving it!

No Way Out (1950). This is a great one. Sidney Poitier’s debut film.

Watching Severance now for the first time. This first episode is great.

The data centres are weapons. The dramatic ramp up in how many are built isn't because that much capacity is needed to summarise your emails or create dumb AI art. The foreign policy world has been awash for a while with stories about AI's future role in military and cyber activity.

I never understood how people seem to have forgotten this, that the characters are not, in fact, real. In books, tv, movies…

It was not a glacier collapse. It was a very large bedrock landslide failure that dragged a piece of glacier with it. Not at all the same thing. Unfortunately the media and Blueskiers have caught the phrase “glacial/glacier collapse” and keep repeating it despite our efforts to correct them.
