Celebrating #WorldWetlandsDay 2026 with a quick look at the Hudson Bay Lowlands, the largest wetland in North America. Home to many Indigenous people, a massive storehouse of peat, and is habitat for wildlife. I teach a 15 day field school entirely in the Hudson Bay Lowlands each year in August.
