Can’t remember where/when/who I stole this one from, but it has found its way into many presentation slide decks since

The irony, barely a week after calling out bribes in return for fake TrustPilot reviews, they email to inform that a genuine review for a company that went above and beyond to look after their customer. Sorry Hachette, I tried to tell the world how awesome you were, but TrustPilot said no....
Automated email from TrustPilot, rejecting genuine positive review of Hachette Partworks

Random spam (lure: @netflix.com renewal failure) hit my inbox this morning whilst I had nothing better to do, so I poked about. Actually really like this; to sell the con, the landing page is a branded faked @cloudflare.social capture page. This new, new? Or have I just been aware from analysis?
Phishing page sells the con with faked, correctly branded, CloudFlare Captcha page.

Not sure how much you can trust TrustPilot when reviews are bought with bribes?…

When did @sandiskstorage.bsky.social start making drives out of cardboard (it seems)? Old faithful has finally started to fail me after many years. Feels solid, robust and reliable. It’s replacement? Bends when you pick it up… think it’s relegated to a throwaway drive as don’t trust it long term
2 Sandisk thumb drives. Old one robust metal construction. New looks to be made of bendy cardboard

1million percent….. Does anyone even bother opening the article when grandpa trumpet threatens a new tariff these days? You know it’ll be both ineffective, and reversed whenever the next squirrel passes the Oval Office to distract him Threat of 50% tariff on EU - www.ft.com/content/db77...

Happy to depressed in two emails. Why do folks still trust Evri to deliver? I might as well start writing the complaint email now, every delivery fails.

As I get older, there’s less things in life that I fear. But some things still send a shiver down my spine with gnawing sense of dread and impending doom….
Screenshot from dispatch notification, confirming that delivery will be attempted by Evri, formerly known as MyHermes, which was Ancient Greek for “every delivery will fail”
