Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Ace Combat 8 is a drug. When I am not playing, I think of it constantly. And I haven't played much! I hope I can finish this weekend. ... *proceeds to play Warframe instead* (look, in my defense, Warframe is the perfect game to "de-stress" me, and I need that so much) 0130
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Adding to that, if you install the Augmented Steam addon for your browse of choice, you will get the best deals the game currently have, among other great things. 030
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 10/10/2026It's hard to pinpoint the best of anything because there are a lot of great stuff, and the greats are mentioned here. But I will pick two not mentioned here: Dancing Mad (FF6) www.youtube.com/watch?v=g6Ug... The Legendary Beast (FF8) www.youtube.com/watch?v=oW61...youtube.comFinal Fantasy VI - Dancing MadYouTube video by tomatoshadow 010
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Fantastic battle mechanics (dressphere is great), music and graphics. Everything else fucking sucks. 010
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 10/10/2026I preordered Resonant and haven't even played the first game lmao. I am a weak person. 000
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 06/10/2026That's an incredible solid list. Most of my own Top 10 are there. Though I haven't heard of Crusader of Centy before. Gotta check that one someday. 010
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 05/10/2026Coming from past games, lots of planes having lasers in AC7 weirded me out a bit. I am having so much fun with AC8. Still in chapter 11. Also using the reflex mod and setting a 30 fps limit made my laptop tolerate the game a bit better. 010
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Thinking of getting Assassin's Creed Mirage, maybe some other cheaper game. Thing is, I already have the DLC for Dragon's Dogma and Tales of Eternia on the horizon. So I dunno if I should spend more (probably not, lol). 010
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 03/10/2026And oh yeah, to help things further, my dog swallowed 4 pieces of a toy (3 cm each), had to do an emergency endoscopy to remove it. 😡 120
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Played the first 3 chapters of Ace Combat 8 on Monday. Was very excited for the game, but I got a truckload of work, internet is wonky (only on my laptop) and my dog's health took a turn for the worse. I finally played one more chapter yesterday. Game is pretty great so far. 290
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 01/10/2026I fucking HATE that Adobe inserted all their apps with AI crap, but Acrobat is the fucking worst. No Adobe, for the Nth time, I don't fucking want to use AI to fucking SEARCH the document, you stupid fucking asshole. Stick AI into your pee hole and leave me alone! (sorry for the rant) 010
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Oh just saw an update on AC8 that they will probably add better support for Hotas in the future. store.steampowered.com/news/app/228...store.steampowered.com 110
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 01/10/2026To be fair, there are ton of RE/SH clones in the indie scene nowadays. store.steampowered.com/app/1298140/...store.steampowered.com 000
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Honestly? Nah. Support for Hotas on AC is spotty at best unless you buy the official one (8 is actually worst than 7 on that). Plus, the game was designed around controllers; it's not a flight simulator after all. 130
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Sorta. Game recommends using GTX 3060ti and 32gb ram. I have a laptop with GTX 3060 and 16gb ram. 💀 Even with everything on low and on balanced, I still get around 40fps (with some cutscenes dropping to 22 sometimes). But the combat plays fine so far, with no stutters. 120
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Melhor você procurar alguém com um computador melhor! Meu laptop tá chorando com esse jogo. 011
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Yeah I agree. I only got the deluxe edition because I don't want to tip my toes on Online too much but I wanted the Morgan. 010
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Game is amazing. Some people are having problem with frequent crashes though. Not me, but I am running everything on low 😭 230

Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 19/09/2026I can only pray it will be playable at low settings 😅 140
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Besides all that, I also am playing Donkey Kong Bannanza, courtesy of a birthday gift from my wife. I am having so much fun that I am moving slowly between the layers because I keep trying to find everything on them. Currently at the ice level. (fuck you, bluesky character limit) 010
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Also, Raptor and Berkut, my beloved. And man, what a great optmized game is AC7. I was running the game in 120 fps flawless! No glitches or slowdown. Amazing. All of that to prepare for AC8. I love the AC franchise and I am super excited for the 8th game. I hope it runs on my machine though ;-; 250
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 19/09/2026I still need to hunt for Aces in AC7 and play the DLCs. And I wanna try all the planes. DLC adds a bunch of them. It's great that all the special ones from all the other games are there. Too bad you have to pay for them. 150
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 19/09/2026On the other hand, my favorite missions where (again!) the fight against Arsenal Bird and specially the last mission. AC has always some crazy mission where you have to enter some tunnel or giant weapon, but jesus... enter a space elevator?? and get out of it vertically? Insane. 140
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 19/09/2026I loved most missions, but man mission 10 was so bullshit, lol. I hated that one so much. Also didn't like much the whole "IFF off" mechanic of the last part. It's kinda buggy to me, I would get close to a tgt and it wouldn't update for me. Killed a bunch of allies b/c of that. 140
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Then I finished Ace Combat 7 (also on hard). Goddamn what a great game. I LOVE the weather & cloud system. Some missions were amazing with it, specially the one where there is a thunderstorm and you can get hit by lightning, while also flying between mountains. 160
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Specially loved how the Squad play evolved from 5 and the different ways you can tackle a mission. Biggest highlight for me was (as always) the fight against Aigaion. I enjoyed the plot, but it has the worst dub in all AC games imo. Also, CFA-Nosferatu is so broken, lmao. 140
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Hey all, been a while. Ever since dropping Endfield, I've been enjoying a lot of good games. Crazy how much time it frees when you quit a gacha/live service in your life huh? Finished Ace Combat 6 (recomp) on hard. Amazing game, though a bit short and too much focused on ground tgts. 1130
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 19/09/2026100% agree on all accounts. I've been living in fear ever since this mf is interfering with elections in my country. And the ignorant ppl are eating his shit fully. I am really afraid for our future here. 270

Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 14/09/2026I can't wait to play this game... someday. I had to choose this or preorder AC8. Hopefully by the end of the year I can afford it. 030

Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 14/09/2026Thanks. Having a blast too. I am moving way too slow between the "worlds" because I keep trying to find all the bananas. 😆 020
Andre P.C. @andrepc.bsky.social · 11/09/2026thank you! I was drooling when this game came out last year, my wife nailed 020
