Mentally preparing myself to serve on an accreditation review team. The Heritage Foundation says it’s a “cartel” and I hope this time I’ll get in on some of riches—because so far, all I’ve gotten at these things are Panera sandwiches and mediocre coffee.

The @chronicle.com asked 59 colleges under investigation by ED how they would respond if they got a list of demands like Columbia. Nobody would answer the questions, and one university (Wisconsin) called them "ridiculous." We'll find out how they actually respond soon enough.
