A new piece! I just got done with another quiet little piece and it’s now in my Big Cartel store. Also, I’ve added 2 of my little bit older pieces. Link: andzuill-9771.bigcartel.com #art #landscape #coloredpencil #drawing

I have a Big Cartel store! For the last 3 years I’ve been creating these landscapes and they just sit in a folder. Maybe they need a real home. andzuill-9771.bigcartel.com

I haven’t quilted in about 10 years. I I’d been dying to start up again. This quilt helped me remember how to do all the techniques I’d used to use. #quilts #hand #quilting #embroidery #rabbit #fiber #art

Colored pencil on Bristol Paper. 8”x6”. I’m trying to break out of my current style. I still do tons of color layering. I’ve left some areas white. #colored #pencil #art #landscape #trees #sierra #nevada

Camping scene. Night scenes are one of my favorites. There’s a nice moodiness. #art #illustration #kidlit #picture #book #rabbits #squirrels #camping #night

My landscapes that I enjoy the most are the ones where I stop looking at the reference material and concentrate on what about a subject made me interested in it in the first place. #coloredpencil #coloredpencils #landscape #landscapes #art #easternSierra #tree

For those of you that have seen the art I posted you might recognize this from an earlier version that I did in gouache. I missed my colored pencils. This is a scene from Skansen, Stockholm, Sweden. 8”x8”, colored pencil. #coloredpencil #landscape #scansen #sweden

This is one of the first gouache pieces I’d ever did. I was working in color pencil at the time but I couldn’t figure out how to recreate this scene in that medium. It was fairly easy in gouache. #gouache #gouacheart #gouachelandscape #landscape #art #illustration #minnesota

Early pencil landscape. Based on a photo I took when I visited Sweden. I have a hard time with buildings. I think I’d like to learn to simplify then. Be less detailed. #coloredpencil #landscape #sweden #landscapeart #illustration #art
