Libraries in Moray, Perth and Kinross and Aberdeenshire earmarked for closure have been saved (for now)! The amount of effort the residents-turned-activists have put into their local campaigns is admirable - and it's great to see it has paid off. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

@ionanicol.bsky.social and I worked together on the Shetland food and drink show this year. Although most of it is Christmas-themed, the Slovak recipes I cooked live on air can definitely work for your Hogmanay dinner! There is so much more abour Shetland food here: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...

I'm not sure if this is the best way of entering @bsky.app but it's very Slavic, so it's also very me. I've done my first ever (not that I'd ever planned this) cooking session on the radio for the Christmas edition of BBC Radio Shetland's Food Larder winter programme. More to follow on Wednesday🎄

This was a fun one to work on, and also very informative too. I've learned a lot about flapper skates in Shetland thanks to @uhishetland.bsky.social and their research into these endangered animals🐟 www.bbc.co.uk/news/videos/...
