We really are blessed with some super writers in Cumbria. Been wanting to begin to read M.W. Craven for a while. This one is courtesy of my Sister in law. 😀📚

Oh yes I don’t like turning the pages down. I tend to read in short spells so my books would be ruined if I did that.

Yes could be it. When he’s in the house with other family/ friends dogs he is fine and enjoys their company. Take him outside for a walk (always on a lead) and anything with legs or wheels is fair game.

I’ve read that one a while ago now. Hope you enjoy it!

I bet that was funny to see. We have met lots of BT owners and some say theirs are like ours, others say not. Trust us to get a gobby, unsociable one; we thought having a smaller breed would be easier!🤦‍♀️ 😂

Yes he’s definitely got plenty of character! He is great in the house but he turns into a monster outdoors and barks at everything! We don’t let anyone pet him as they say oh he’s a cutie; he reels them in then he lets them have it!!! We have been border collie owners for about 25 years until now.

Started a potter in the garden, two pots tidied and was all done in. Enjoyed a sit on the garden swing in the light rain. Sofa time with my pal and a new book.

Brilliant! 5🌟.Have got Belsay, the next one in the series to read, but as it’s a Christmas setting I’m going to leave it to the end of the year. Have ordered Berwick which should arrive in September to start the new year. The next book after that is due to be published in 2028 so I will have a wait!

Tearing myself away from the Shackleton series for a while ( it’s hard because they are so engaging). Time to return to DCI Ryan! #CrimeFiction

Discovered this historical fiction series recently, setting is my birth town of Whitehaven, 5 miles down the coast. We get a tall ship or two sailing g into the harbour most years. The Nao Santa Maria sailed into the town at high tide yesterday, Tuesday July 28 at around 11.40am.

I’ve read Olive Kitteridge and I’ve again. The second book was a better read for me than the first. Going to see how I feel about this one.
