One of the most original novels I’ve read in a long time, Underground Barbie by Maša Kolanović, recounts the effects of the Yugoslav Wars on kids playing in the basement as fighting rages around them. Translated from Croatian by Ena Selimović 🇭🇷 Great pick for #WITMonth 📘🤩 #WomenInTranslation
