I'm late on this fabulous book but I'm so glad I finally read it. I thought I was reading about a mom's struggle to protect, defend, and question her teen son but the true story touched me in a way that will stay with me forever. Thank you @jenniferboylanri.bsky.social @jodipicoult.bsky.social

Honestly, no one ever told me that your children are babies forever in your heart but not in your arms. If they did, I was too dumb to listen. My sons are 6'3 (18) and 6' (15) and tower over me but when I see them I see my babies.
