My Claude Pro plan goes a lot further in Claude Code now. Opus makes the decisions, and cheaper subagents write the code and open the pull requests. Each PR costs about 40% less than when Opus did it all. How I set it up: www.andreagrandi.it/posts/claude...

How I use Claude Code subagents to make my Claude Pro limits last longer
I use Claude Code with a 20€/month Claude Pro subscription. Opus 5.5 makes the decisions, while Sonnet and Haiku subagents write the code and open the pull requests. Here are my agent files, my CLAUDE...

I aborted my application after reading the last ToS page: once in, it seems you can't use the capabilities (or even the whole Claude account) when abroad (permission valid only for the country where you apply). This is risky if you travel. Support is not existent (bot won't pass me to human).

Even on Codex side everything seems better (with usage). I let it work on some tasks since this morning (sol high plan / sol medium orchestrator / luna max coding) and it has consumed 4% so far.

Andrea Grandi @andreagrandi.it · 23/09/2026
is this a 100 or 200 plan?

GPT Sol 6 and Luna 6 released and they cost 50% less than their 5.6 equivalents! Yay!? No. I'm not excited. Give them a few days and they will silently and shadly decrease the available usage and people will start complaining the week only last 3 days. See you in 1-2 weeks.

I'm gradually replacing OpenAI models usage with DeepSeek 4.1 flash. DS high is very good at orchestrating, max for planning and implementation and final review with GPT Astra (I use OhMyPi agent). Plenty of DS usage for just $10 on Open Code Go (we both get $5) opencode.ai/go?ref=V9Q1Z...

OpenCode Go | Low cost coding models for everyone

I've been using 4.1 since yesterday (as orchestrator and to replace luna xhigh at implementation). I'm impressed by speed, quality and it cost pennies! I'm using it through Open Code Go plan and I've barely consumed 4% of the weekly usage.

Andrea Grandi @andreagrandi.it · 07/09/2026
pretty much the same :/ and I'm using astra "low" to orchestrate. They definitely have some other usage bug. It's not supposed to be so expensive.
000
Andrea Grandi @andreagrandi.it · 04/09/2026
I would expect GPT-6-sol, GPT-6-terra, GPT-6-luna, in addition to GPT-6-astra (not 5.7)
000
Andrea Grandi @andreagrandi.it · 02/09/2026
only if your app is already "famous" and with an active community. They just rejected my application for signing Draft Omen www.draftomen.com because it's still too new. No matter if I have decades of open source contributions 🤷🏻‍♂️

Andrea Grandi @andreagrandi.it · 27/08/2026
If you are hammering your Codex subscription with GPT-5.6-sol (and complaining about usage) only, you are probably doing it wrong. Give sol high for planning + luna xhigh for implementation + sol xhigh for review a try. You can easily split these tasks if you use OhMyPi. You are welcome!

I'm seriously considering cancelling my ChatGPT subscription after this shit show community.openai.com/t/codex-limi... TL/DR: usage is draining faster than ever. People are exhausting 20x subscriptions in a couple of days. OpenAI is ignoring the complains, censoring posts and not ack the issue.

Codex limits spark frustration among subscribers
I’m facing the exact same issue, and this is honestly extremely frustrating. I purchased the Pro 20× plan (~₹16,000) specifically because I do very heavy development work and needed the higher Codex ...

Andrea Grandi @andreagrandi.it · 17/08/2026
it’s definitely happening to me too: I upgraded to 5x plan a few days ago and I even lowered the think effort (from max to xhigh/high) and the usage is exhausting at the same speed 🙄

Working on open source apps has become a quite expensive hobby (assuming you write software like it's 2026 not like it's < 2024). While I can justify a ~$20 AI subscription for an hobby, I can hardly justify a ~$100 one (unless you make money from it). Enjoy what I can provide with my $20 🤷🏻‍♂️

logbasset already documents itself for AI agents via a `context` command. So why add an agent skill too? Because self-documentation ≠ discovery: one tells the agent how to use the tool, the other gets it to reach for the tool at all. www.andreagrandi.it/posts/why-ad...
andreagrandi.it
Why add an agent skill to a CLI that already has a context command?
logbasset already self-documents for agents through a context command, so why add an installable agent skill on top? Because self-documentation and discovery are two different problems.
