Judging tonight at Burnaby's Got Talent at Burnaby South Secondary! I was recruited by one of the student volunteers organizing the event, who was my student from the MACC Program. So nice to see students taking on leadership! Excited to be here for an SD41 event! Thanks for asking me! 😀

Today's reading and quotes that resonate in considering a gift vs market economy.. Margaret Atwood: "Every time a gift is given it is enlivened and regenerated through the new spiritual life it engenders both in the giver and the recipient." From the author, "We don't each have to own everything."

The Serviceberry by Robin Wall Kimmerer.
