Happy Belated Valentine's day folks! A little piece I worked on for a sort of idea of first proper meeting between Liath and Branna before the main Tóraíocht story and the little 'thunk!' of Cupid's arrow hitting them both (in Liath's case Cupid had to break out the trumpet 🎺 ) #toraiocht

I started working on this around the time Florence released her album, so it's been in my WIP folder for a while, just staring at me petulantly 💀 I think it's quite obvious which song it was inspired by 👀 #knightsofguinevere #knightsofguineverefanart

I wanted to get this done for the release day but then I got busy 💀 But better late then never! I absolutely LOOOOVEEEED the pilot like I hoped I would, the mystery, suspense and just general vibes of 'something is very wrong here' is absolutely immaculate 👌

This took such a long time to do, but I really love how this developed. It's a continuation of my Tóraíocht NYE post, with this sort of hopeful/awestruck feeling for the group and their journey, while supporting and opposing forces observe them in their quest, to either help or hinder. #toraiocht

But of fanart I made to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of JCVTU. I really had fun on this, I always hugely enjoy drawing the characters from this show, especially Jentry and Stella, they're both so pretty 😭💖 (Go watch Jentry Chau if you haven't already) #jentrychauvstheunderworld

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 24: Butterfly I've been super stressed this week and didnt think I'd have it in me to finish anything, but I manged to finally get this piece done and I'm very proud of how it turned out 😭💖 #sketchchallenge #digitalart #toraiocht #toraiochtsketch25

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 23: Deception Can you spot the deception? 👀 I spent much longer on this then I meant to, I was trying to take care of my wrist 😅 I had an idea of the Cheshire Cat in mind for this, with an old Irish road sign that was just didn't make sense geographically

Vampire Thorn 🧛🏻‍♀️ This is sort of a redraw from last year when I drew Vampire Thorn, I felt I could do a better job this time around and I think I've achieved that 😌 #hexgirls #thornHexGirls #scoobydoo #scoobydooandthewitchsghost

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 22: Creature Got a bad dose of the flu this week and my wrist was in a good deal of pain, so I had to take a small break before I could finish this piece, but it's finally dooooone! #toraiocht

I was sick there yesterday so obviously to recover I'm finishing this small painting of Elvira Clancy from Obituary 💀 Also, I binged all of S2 and it's even better then the first season, I love this lady, she gets herself into such messes and then waltzes her way out 😂 #obituaryrte #obituary

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 18/10/2025

I LOOOOVE Tóraíocht's concept art for the Puca (a shapeshifter and sort of trickster from Irish folklore), I think it's such a fun design that I wanted to do up a drawing so I could get into how to tackle it in my own way before fully committing to the other illustration I'm doing 👀 #toraiocht

031

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 16/10/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 21: Sword Look, did I get inspired by two separate images, one that had orange lighting and blue shadows and one with sun shaped lighting on the face and decide I wanted to apply that to Lugh? Yes, because I'm a sucker for symbolism 👀

000

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 13/10/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 20: Fairytale As you can see, I went with Snow White as inspiration for this 👀 I just thought it'd be slightly amusing to have Liath be Snow White, because I could defo see her munching on a poison apple by mistake and Branna having to save her 😂

010

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 11/10/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 19: Mother I told you all there would be tears 😭

010

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 18: Fox A simpler idea today (a floofy lil guy with an itch), but I really wanted to focus on testing out gouache brushes and texture for this ✨

010

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 09/10/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 17: Lost I got way too in the zone and literally blacked out until the piece was finished 💀

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 15 and 16: Girl and Beast Did not think I would get this done, but I surprised myself 🤣 #toraiochtsketch25 #toraiocht #digitalart #sketchchallenge

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 07/10/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 14: Love (we're all going to pretend I did not reupload this on my lunch break because the rendering on Liath's face was bothering me 👀) #toraiocht

010

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 06/10/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 13: History Yeeeeah, safe to say I'm doubly late, but I do feel it was worth it in the end 👀 Very happy with how this turned out, I really wanted to do something looking at Liath being under pressure from the expectations of her family and their lineage of being Knights ⚔️

010

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 03/10/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 12: Stone I imagine when you do wake up a sleeping land goddess she probably does yawn in your face when you're talking to her 😂 #toraiochtsketch25 #toraiocht #digitalart #sketchchallenge

030

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 02/10/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 11: Deity I did not think I'd get this done, but I've given into the messy painting and I think it's shorten my renderinf time a bit 😅😂 (It's so nice to do a proper painting again 😭) Aoife meeting Ériu on her journey 🌱 #toraiochtsketch25 #toraiocht

010

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 01/10/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 10: Map Safe to say Liath did in fact catch up to the pumpkin man 🤣 (Second slide just for reference incase a few others didn't see yesterday's post about this 😂) #toraiochtsketch25 #toraiocht #digitalart #sketchchallenge

020

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 30/09/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 9: Bus I just feel these two have beef and I find this idea of Liath chasing after the bus with the pumpkin man inside so funny 🤣 #toraiochtsketch25 #toraiocht #digitalart #sketchchallenge

010

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 29/09/2025

Not a part of the prompt list for Day 8, but just a quick sketch of the Rí, because who doesn't love a pretty boy that can transform into a raven beast? 👀 A lot of us, if Howl's fan base is anything to go by 🤣 #toraiocht #digitalart #toraiochtrí

021

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 28/09/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 7: Backpack As someone who did own a bag like this, the very thing you were looking would be at the bottom of the bag so you'd need to take half of it out to find it 💀 Twas a struggle. Also, shout out to anyone that also had the Aisling copies, core Irish primary school memory

000

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 27/09/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 6: Adventure Since I had a bit of time today, I wanted to try out a portal. I do really like the colours and lighting on Branna, but I do think I could have tried something a bit different on the rest of them 😅 Ah well, you can't know something won't work until you try 🤣

010

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 26/09/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 5: Heroine Look, Arthur probably had more trouble with the sword in the stone then he told people he did 👀 A funny moment of bonding between Aoife and her dog, a heroine effort to get that sword out 🤣 #toraiochtsketch25 #toraiocht

010

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 25/09/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 4: Magic Can you tell I love painting water? 👀 I had a bigger idea for this, but I learned my lesson from yesterday and decided to go smaller and I think it paid off, because I got more of chance to focus on poses and lighting ✨

020

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 24/09/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 3: Forest I think I had bigger notions for this then time allowed 😂 I liked the idea of the trees in a forest having faces and being a sort of ominous presence behind them. If I was to do it again, I'd try out a few different ideas for it before diving in

000

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 23/09/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 2: Knight I had a lot of fun with some of the posing for this, even if the hound pose is questionable at best, but we'll all kindly ignore that 👀 #toraiochtsketch25

000

Andrea D’Arcy @andreadarcyart.bsky.social · 22/09/2025

Tóraíocht Sketch Day 1: Hound Look folks, I'm going to be honest with you, I'm out of my comfort zone here doing this sketchier, looser style so hang on tight as I figure this out 😅 #toraiochtsketch25 #toraiocht #digitalart #sketchchallenge
