The hubs and I are rewatching Star Trek: Voyager. Some observations: 1. I used to think Janeway was pandering to a masculine leadership trope. Not anymore. She’s one of the best examples of compassionate leadership I’ve seen on screen.

For 15 years, I’ve focused on empathy-driven software development. Now, I’m focused on empathy-driven organizations. Part of me feels like I’m coming home. I started my career in business and strategic comms. The other part of me is grieving. I deeply miss interacting with devs everyday.
