Had our second game of Blades in the Dark last night and while it is taking a while to get into the groove of it, I really am enjoying it! Only managed to get through downtime and to the engagement roll for the second heist: sabotaging one of the lightning barrier towers to put heat on one of […]

Last night, the party recruited a wight and her skeleton crew. Just gotta help them take revenge on a necromancer real quick! I can also report that combat on a 5 foot wide spiral staircase with no railing way up high can be a lot of fun, especially when the dungeon fights back. I'm getting […]

When your players want to hire people to dig them a canal, they get Smorkle, lil guy and spellcaster who can for sure cast Mold Earth and no, you don't need to know anything about him, thank you very much. #ttrpg #dnd

Very simple illustration of a figure in a brown robe. You can only see a pair of white eyes inside its dark hood. Two things protrude on its head, ears or horns perhaps. Little green hands poke out from the robe, as do a pair of pointy shoes.

Decided to prep a recent game by mostly just drawing a “map” and writing a line about each NPC. Turned into a good session! So much desecration. So many ways to make someone eject a crystal from their stomach. #ttrpg #MastoArt

Drawing of a small, green island with two hilltops. One of them has a hole on top, the other has a temple. Little buildings, trees, and docks are drawn onto the island in black lines. The colors are flat and the style a bit naive.

Jesca Hoop was so good, so friendly, so funny. Went solo to a concert for the first time in maybe 15 years and it was a treat! Signed record procured ✅ #music

Black and white photograph of the artist Jesca Hoop on stage. She is lit by a spotlight and singing into a microphone. Tops of audience member’s heads are blurry and visible in the foreground.

[Swedish politics, hopeful] As it stands right now, the far right party in Sweden has lost 11 seats in parliament, the biggest loss of any party. They are still the third biggest party, but dammmmn it feels good to see them lose ground! Let's hope this encourages the other parties to stop […]

A tip for amateur layout design: avoid justified text. It’s tricky to make it easy on the eyes while actually reading the text. I totally get the impulse to make clean blocks on the page, but that really only looks good at a glance before you dive into bizarrely spaced words. If you want to […]

Really loved the mix of animation styles in this psychedelic monster freakout. Puts me in mind of a style of acid splashed illustration I associate with Dungeon Crawl Classics and more bizarro styles of OSR-adjacent RPG adventures. #BalmingTiger #Psychedelic #Monsters youtu.be/XyQ45IQqtCY
