Yes! (I choose to believe in you because I have to read 8 and it gives me hope 😬😬😬)

I remember going to the library when I was a kid so I could check out cd’s that I’d rip into my iPod (lol don’t tell!) and guess who recently just dusted off their library card? 😌

I think that if you like any of his other movies, you’d like this one if only because it’s a gorgeous Gothic feast.

Even if you hate it, you should still watch it. I’ve read Frankenstein and I love the book, but I also love GDT’s Frankenstein. I don’t mind the changes that del Toro made, he’s telling a story about generational trauma (& it’s very Mexican subtextually lol).

I’m going to Hollywood next week to watch it at the Egyptian Theater! I’m so excited for it, I really didn’t want to watch it on a small screen and wait until November either.

I was disturbed by the ease in which he invaded an Indian man’s body. David, described by Rice as a very colonial British type of “chap” with the English estate and Kipling-esque adventuring in South America. Very sinister stuff imo

I knew that walking around Disneyland would make my feet and legs hurt, but I had no idea it was also going to take out my back. Is this what getting old feels like?

I’ve never seen anything like this in my life. My gas mask paid for itself within the first minute the ice agents came out of the building. They escalated to this immediately, like it was a war zone- flash bombs, various gasses… #fightfascism #fuckice

Professional criticism is not the same as individual reviews. They can both be useful but criticism is a skill-based genre like any other writing. The yelpification of criticism isn’t evolution.

Please, there are still Lestat haters making videos about how we’re dumb for shipping Loustat. I have no idea how they’re going to take the next few seasons of the show tbh 😂😂

Honestly for these award shows, it’s not about how good your show is, it’s about how much money the Network is willing to spend outside of the obligatory fees. It does suck that AMC isn’t willing to spend on IWTV but it’s also BS that the awards are merit based in this category. That’s Hollywood…

I just saw a TikTok that said: “Viewing things through a lens of ironic detachment and judgement is killing your ability to enjoy this brief life. While you’re glaring at your phone pissed off, others are having fun.” I’ve been telling myself this for YEARS and wanted to discuss

Embracing hope, kindness, and joy amidst the turmoil and darkness is heroic. That’s the message of the movie and I think we do need it rn 😭
