That's a good way to go about it. In my case, once someone has told me who they are and how they want to be referred to as, it flips a switch for me and I automatically try to correct everything in my head at once about them. And if I mess up, I almost always correct it right away and apologize.

Non-binary pronouns are my nemesis, I fuck them up so easily, but I'm very good at correcting my self the moment it happens XD You're good, growing up and learning we're kinda hardwired to only use He or She pronouns, and only use they or them when referring to a group. It's gonna take time XD

Yeah, I still refer to my self in my head as my deadname a lot. It doesn't bug me too much, and I know it's gonna take time, but damn is it annoying sometimes.

Don't let it get to you, I misgender my self way more than I will ever admit. It takes a bit. It's mental/vocal memory. Granted it's taking me longer due to memory issues. Then again I refer to my self as a c*nt all the time so there's also that XD

Yeah I agree completely, I would not feel safe enough being who I am over there. Would probably be targeted or something over there. It's baffling how night and day this is from Twitter in cases like that.

Dunno if anyone needs to hear this, I certainly do, but it does get better. It's not worth ending things. It does get better, because it has to. Eventually you will reach rock bottom, hell maybe a few times, but life is worth living. You never know what's gonna happen.
