I was working on a guitar last night. Tightening a flat nut with a pair of long nosed pliers. Wrong tool for the job. I paid the price when they slipped. The guitar is great now but ironically, I wont be able to play the thing for a couple of weeks. 🫤

The lemon oil obviously took a while to soak in TO ebony (not sure if it matters on such a neck) The Frine fret polishing needs a another go though. Needs a fair bit of work. £1k+ guitar without stainless frets!? 2000s Gibson's deserved the iffy rep!

OK. I have been enjoying the wonderful quality of cheaper guitars of late. But after slagging off this old Gibson for years (It's an early 2000's model. They were bad) I have just took it out of it's case and whilst the strings are dull, It is perfectly in tune! 😮 Gibson SG Voodoo.
