Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 09/10/2026Something ironic about process ontology posts on the platform most devoted to a static "famous friends" ontology of the self. 020
Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 08/10/2026I usually blend them in the grind with a bit of Brazilian Minas Gerais yellow bourbon light roast from Andersen & Maillard, Copenhagen. Restricted shots, bright and complex in the cup. 000

Both beans from Berry and Bean, Aarhus, skillet-roasted at home by me on the 19th of September. 110

Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 08/10/2026It's always a delight to discover something new about oneself! Recently discovered that my trusty coffee weighing scale of many years is actually Scandinavian! This old flea market find from years ago is in fact a Mått-vågen Gullan, a classic mid century retro Swedish kitchen tool from the 50s. 151
Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 07/10/2026In Denmark, the cats have already read the herding guidelines. A fascinating read. In Danish universities at least, compliance is presupposed rather than won through persuasion. No comment on whether I infer CBS is in the Danish sample :) 021

Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 06/10/2026This is cool, and I wish them well. Notably, DAWO already runs on French and German components. Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 05/10/2026Perhaps we should rethink who gets to write the authoritative account of what organizations actually do. 2/2 010
Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 05/10/2026A beautifully presented article, and the story of many organizations: the 'lower decks,' through sheer determination, absorb the incompetence and/or malfeasance at the top. The top takes the credit or dodges blame. If only our institutions didn't reward mismanagement so reliably. 1/2 121
Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 04/10/2026Good but flawed set of alternatives; they often exist in isolation, without a broader ecosystem of tech, teachers, & habits. A fine start to diversifying your digital footprint. The more emancipatory move is away from Big Tech, toward a blend of open source/community-maintained tools. 131
Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 04/10/2026Escape from LA is prophetic. Also bonkers-ier (thats a cinephile term) 010
Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 29/09/2026Much of what we do in organizations is discretionary and relational, and never makes it into formal digital traces. When we try to automate the version of the organization we know from the traces, we miss an invisible glue, perceived only in its absence. 022
Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 28/09/2026Exceptions are the rule in healthcare. Because of fairly rigid digital infrastructures, "exception handling" is often done via endless coordinating emails. A judgement-heavy, non-trivial task for technology, but one that many would be grateful for. 100
Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 28/09/2026I'd put it as "expert in, expert system out," but I do enjoy the classics :) 010

Anand Bhardwaj @anandb.wsocial.eu · 28/09/2026A small milestone: I just accepted my 10th journal review of the year (not counting 14 conference reviews) Peer review is one of the pleasures of the job. It is also my one indulgence in paper: I print every manuscript, and choosing the fountain pen and ink for it has become a small ritual. 1/3 141
