*sigh* I tried to like this one but am realizing it's just not for me. There are some funny quips and the premise was really interesting, but found it all a bit too irreverent and hard to follow. DNF at 78% listened to. #booksky #fantasyreader

You want to see Norway men’s national football team’s official photo for World Cup 2026 www.nytimes.com/athletic/733...

members of the Norway men’s national football team on a rocky shore, styled as a fierce group of ancient Vikings. They are dressed in elaborate historical costumes, including fur-trimmed capes, leather tunics, chainmail, and armor pieces, while holding traditional gear like circular wooden shields, spears, axes, swords, and blowing horns. In the background, longships rest on a calm body of water that cuts through a vast, dramatic fjord. The rugged landscape is framed by massive, steep green mountains, with a thin waterfall cascading down a cliff face on the left, all under a cloudy, overcast sky.

Feb book review part 3, because I am having trouble counting to 4 this morning.

A small image of the book cover for Piranesi, written by Susanna Clarke and narrated by Chiwetel Efiofor. The text of the review reads “Piranesi lives in a world full of rooms, some are filled with water, others have statues, and others are empty. He uses his notebooks to record everything that happens in The House, including the occasional visits from The Other. Then, one day, another person shows up in The House and Piranesi must try to figure out exactly what’s going on.

I will admit it took me several times listening to this to get past the first couple of chapters, as the book is written in an almost disassociated style and it’s not clear what’s going on. It’s worth it.”
