Hi! I'm been pretty busy irl and will be back soon! I've been working, practicing digital painting and working on my writing, though, among other things!

Okay. Now that my life has chilled out. I need to come back here and be regular! Killing it with my main character energy irl right now ✨️

Had some life shifts! Be back soon. (Also hunting monsters, haha! Still working on Chainsmoke, improving my drawing, and owning/toying with my not-so-secret alter ego Happy Chaos / The Original 😆 - lots of plans & art to finish this month.)

I also pulled up a bunch of Metroid drawings to finish! I came out of depression recently and finished Metroid Dread! Definitely slipping in some Ravenbeak drawings! The Chozo are way too cool.

I have to pick some Street Fighter sketches to paint up soon and draw some Monster Hunter.

I gave myself a lot of comics to make this year. I'd like to color them all, but hopefully no one will be too disappointed if some are ink and greyscale toned to save time and get them all done!

Post-Valentine's Day, I'm reposting this Retsuko and Haida as a personal note to finish it! 😀 I did start inking it on paper, but it looks pretty bad, so this one will be digital. As a metalhead who loves animals, I love #Aggretsuko! It cheers me up on a rainy and I want to draw more.

I can't wait to finish more couples art. 😀 Chaos and I-no are such a perfect baddie duo!

Happy Valentine's Day! 🎸 I-no x Chaos 🔫 I might go back and do something else with that background. It doesn't feel finished, but I wanted to make badass valentine this year! I popped my knuckle on the tablet painting this and it hurts! #GuiltyGearStrive #ggst #happychaos #Ino #valentinesday

I started a new chapter in life! Hopefully, I'll be able to make a push for having a real future between this year and next, and my art & writing career! I hope to finish a lot this year as a result. I very, very much hope that people enjoy what I make, and that my continued presence is welcome!

I have to say, the Nintendo Switch controllers are the most comfortable in my hands! All the buttons are easy to reach. Both my pro controller and joycon peripheral are awesome. These, and then my PS4 controller are my favorites. 🖤

Man. Nothing worse than something fluid and fun in a game getting rubberbanded. 💀 I love mechanics that don't force you to slow down on skills the player enjoys being good at.

Kate (Mister Chaos) ☆Comms Open☆ @anaglyphfirebird.bsky.social · 03/02/2025

I forgot about this sketch. 😆 It's one of my favorites. Viktor really thinks he's important. Even Ralph is allowed to think this shit is bananas with the rest of them. Into the pile of "I should finish this" sketches. 🥲 #chainsmoke #sketches

Old art of my character, Alexis, who is mostly in my first story arc, which I hope to finally do something with later this year. I make a lot of designs per character; Everyone has multiple outfits. In the last drawing, I sometimes like the idea of her as a calico. #Chainsmoke #characterart

I'm hoping to make unique work that you can't get anywhere else. 💝

010

Kate (Mister Chaos) ☆Comms Open☆ @anaglyphfirebird.bsky.social · 01/02/2025

And in amidst this, I'm working on other things, too. Gotta color I-no and finish about 9987665232699 more Happy Chaos drawings, catch up on Metroid, Final Fantasy & Street Fighter art, post more personal concept work, designs & animal paintings! This is going to be a big year for finished work! 🙌😈

010

Kate (Mister Chaos) ☆Comms Open☆ @anaglyphfirebird.bsky.social · 01/02/2025

Right now I'm working on my worldbuilding concepts to get the looks of the story & atmosphere right. I want to push weirder stuff so I can really knock the arc that's supposed to be before this one out of the park! I'll be making stuff to sell, too, to support myself in tandem with this.

010

Kate (Mister Chaos) ☆Comms Open☆ @anaglyphfirebird.bsky.social · 01/02/2025

I decided to spread my Update over a few days because I want to make an introductory graphic to the series! 😈 The important part is that the outline for this 1.5 arc is complete & I can start thumbnails while I finish the script. Will be free to read & colored digitally! #Chainsmoke #sketches

Ah, my apologies for the image quality of my sketches, by the way. A new scanner is among the things I can't afford right now. I can't wait to make nice, crisp, 300dpi images again someday, let me tell you!

000

Kate (Mister Chaos) ☆Comms Open☆ @anaglyphfirebird.bsky.social · 30/01/2025

It's gonna be Update time on the 31st! Here are some sketches to start! It won't be a huge update - mostly just artwork and info on the new story like a teaser! I hope that'll be fun, then I'll move into progress shots, etc. in February! 😀 Sound good? Hope you all like these!🖤 #Chainsmoke #sketches

I aim to take ORANGE back from... politics Many cool things are orange: sunsets, tiger lilies, cars, basketballs, road cones, Samus, the band Agent Orange, citrus fruits, one third of the Irish flag, and 5 pairs of sunglasses I own, some tropical fish, tigers, some depictions of the Phoenix bird...

I wonder if I can quickly learn to Speedrun with the bow in Monster Hunter Rise before Wilds comes out. I want to do more Metroid runs, too. Prime 4 is going to be so cool. Anyone who hasn't played Dread yet absolutely should.

VERY old favorites. I'm actually working on new character art for all three main characters (Ralph, Viktor and Angela)! I hope to outdo the quality of these and get some excitement going for the new story, which is so far atmospheric and character-based! 😀 #Chainsmoke #characterart #illustration

My stuff doesn't contain nearly enough skulls, spikes, ominous death-like figures, metal and monsters lately like it used to, and I gotta fix that.
