Very happy to be invited and to teach students what I've been researching for the past 3 years. I’m also looking forward to take off my researcher hat for a moment and hearing what students think about AI!

A dystopian manifesto that reads like Big Brother but its real. 1. surveillance tech state & control through data 2.privacy is obsolete 3. racism. rejection of pluralism. Societies are the west and their vision is one of technological power and military dominance. Not today. Not ever.

Is prompting actually a science or a pseudo-science? -at work with @caentrena.bsky.social There’s real experimentation, reproducibility, and measurable outcomes behind prompt design or there’s also a growing layer of folklore, “magic prompts,” and unverifiable claims? Curious how others see it.

"To put it bluntly, the path currently being taken towards agentic AI leads to an elimination of privacy and security at the application layer. It will not be possible for apps like Signal—the messaging app whose foundation I run—to continue to provide strong privacy guarantees..."

For my first post here, I want to say my outrage at the state of the world. How did we go from Zuckerberg apologizing for algorithms reinforcing inequalities just two years ago—to now, where he's pushing for 'more masculine energy' in business, banning diversity policies, and ending fact-checking?
