One of my favorite releases from last year. Definitely giving this record a spin today 🤘

It tells the real-life story of the lynching of young Emmett Till in 1950's Mississippi. It's a particularly heavy song playing live, and we're very grateful to our fans showing the subject matter the respect it deserves.

On this date, 19 years ago, An Abstract Illusion was founded by 4 kids with a shared passion for loud music. Pretty insane to think that this band has been with us for over half our lives. Next year it’s our 20th Anniversary, should we do something special for that occasion?!

(3/4) On the webstore you can find clothing, LP’s and CD’s, everything we’ve been selling on our recent tours. Shipping from the EU dramatically changes the costs for all Europeans, cutting out imports for those within the EU and lowering shipping costs overall.

Progstorm 2026 c'est fini. Pure Reason Revolution was...a choice to close the weekend. Not my cup of tea but I enjoyed the bands I came to see, I saw a couple of decent bands I hadn't really listened to before. I stand by my opinion that @anabstractillusion.bsky.social should have been a headliner.

One more video, the intro to Emmett, which I couldn't keep filming because doing so took me out of the moment and I wanted to just experience it. @anabstractillusion.bsky.social #progstorm2026 And now off to do touristy things...

Literally came to Quebec for this...the biggest selling point (for me) to come to @progstormfestival.bsky.social was to see @anabstractillusion.bsky.social and they did fucking delivered. Emmett was devastatingly good, as was this epic masterpiece 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
