I find the most interesting part of a job talk is how the candidate answers questions. I walk away very impressed when in the Q&A someone demonstrates depth of knowledge AND an ability to think creatively about the inputs/ideas that are being provided by audience members. Creativity and depth….

At this point I basically only review for journals where I am on the editorial board. And I keep those at one active review per journal at a time so as not to overwhelm myself. But I do feel bad for having to say no to lots of other cool sounding papers!

Ana Bridges, professor at U Arkansas. I research strategies to increase access to evidence-based behavioral health care for diverse and marginalized populations. This is how I found myself in primary care psych. Second line of work focuses on sexual violence victimization/perpetration.
