At 12:45am cops entered my pasture searching for a missing person WITHOUT permission or warning and shot and killed my bottle raised baby donkey.
They claimed he ran up to them braying and they thought they were in danger and shot and killed him after trying to taze him.
HeeHaw was raised in the house and did petting zoos he never knew a stranger. And was shot and killed in his OWN pasture for doing what donkeys do. Alerting to a stranger. There is no way this is legal! I will be taking legal action.
Share this everywhere and get justice for HeeHaw. We are heart broken 💔 he was my SON!

Context : The Lost Cross house, the longest running punk house in USA, was a big part of my personal history having gone to school in Carbondale for a number of years & lived in town as well. It was something I was always kind of dipping in & out of, knowing a lot of people who lived / passed through there but also playing shows there on a handful of occasions - Some of the most amazing things I've seen in life happened here - More info = https://www.lostcross.org/

New EFSPACM - ensembleforsoundpoetryandcontemporarymusic.bandcamp.com/album/294

New Release from the ENSEMBLE FOR SOUND POETRY AND CONTEMPORARY MUSIC = This album is born from an intimate and unpredictable creative ritual. Imagine walking up to a bookshelf, selecting the second book, opening it to page nine, and focusing on the fourth sentence you find there. That sentence becomes the spark - the guiding instruction for the music you create. From its words, you choose one or two to form the title of your piece, letting literature shape sound in a deeply personal way.

My track was from Stuart Home's 69 THINGS TO DO WITH A DEAD PRINCESS

Today's #Make_Bluesky_Beautiful_with_art Kitagawa Utamaro.

Today's #Make_Bluesky_Beautiful_with_art

Image - Frog with Funnel in mouth full of emerging foliage
Text = Kato Farms
This wonderful woodblock print is titled "An Arrangement of Valerian and Chinese Bell Flowers," created around 1796 by the artist Kitagawa Utamaro.
What's shown here is a simple yet elegant Japanese ikebana flower arrangement. You have these delicate yellow valerian blooms mixed with Chinese bell flowers, all branching out gracefully from a green vase that's sort of funnel-shaped. Below it sits a plump frog on a matching green platform that looks like a bamboo mat.
The frog is gazing up, almost like it's part of the whole scene, adding a QUIRKY touch to what could be a standard floral display.
The frog isn't just random—it's there to bring in some WHIMSY and connect the natural world to the art of flower arranging. In traditional Japanese ikebana, arrangements often use stands or holders, but here Utamaro imagines the frog taking on that role, like a living support for the vase and flowers.
It's not a real ceramic piece or anything practical; it's purely an IMAGINED way to use an animal in the composition, blending wildlife with botanical beauty for a fun twist.
What makes Utamaro so clever in this print is how he turns a straightforward ikebana study into something playful and unexpected.
By having the frog "participate" in the arrangement, he adds humor and personality, making you smile at the idea of nature coming alive in such a creative, lighthearted way. It's a subtle nod to his skill in capturing everyday wonders with a dash of imagination.
