They don’t get 7 months severance. They have a week to tell him if they will resign in September. They still have to work until their resignation date - they just get to work remotely until that time, if they wish.

If I ever get locked in a Costco overnight, the first thing I’m going to do is put all the Jarlsberg back together like a puzzle. The next thing I’ll do is have a little snack while I look around. THEN, I’ll probably call someone to let me out.
