Seen at a cinema (aka movie theater) in Philadelphia.
On the right a wall-mounted hand dryer with air vent pointing downwards, above a counter with a sink. Behind the sink is a mirror with a paper sign stuck to it reading“This hand dryer is motion activated. Please do not place your popcorn under the sensor”

I combined two of my hobbies at the weekend - the 3rd bassoon/contrabassoon part in Bruckner’s 8th symphony has quite a few bars rest so I took my knitting along to the rehearsal. #knitting #bassoon
My lap with a colourful partly-knitted scarf on it and part of a bassoon visible on the right, leaning against my leg.

@sarajw We saw these cheery snow people and snow dogs on our walk
Two snow people each made of three balls of snow with two twig arms extended, pebble eyes, carrot noses and twig smiles. Next to each snow person is a little snow dog.

I received an excellent selection of books this year!
A small pile of books. Three are lying flat: Vegetarisch by Paul Ivić, Slow Horses by Mick Herron and The Impossible Fortune by Richard Osman and a small one is standing on top: Little Miss Marple Muddle at the Vicarage by Roger Hargreaves and Agatha Christie
