Quick tech breakdown for the ERMINAZ mission: The satellites use SSDV to split JPEG images into robust packets. These are embedded directly into standardized CCSDS Transfer Frames using Virtual Channel ID 4 (VCID 4) for seamless decoding on Earth. Open Source! 🛸📡 #PocketQube #CubeSat #AMSAT

Cebreros hat mindestens Faktor 3x (~5dB) stärkeres Signal als die 20m Antenne in Bochum. Da liegen die Seitenbänder momentan im Rauschen. Wir brauchen eine größere Antenne 😉

Indeed we are also watching #BepiColombo from Bochum Observatory with our 20m dish. Weather conditions in Bochum not very favorable at the moment.... it takes 11.5 minutes until signal arrives from 207 Million kilometers at Earth!
