🌊NEW VIDEO🪽 Steven Universe is a show filled with questions - but there's perhaps one it struggles with the most: Who is Lapis Lazuli? (link below)

still been slowly making my way through this show, but desperately want to speed up a little bit once this next video is finally done - the last few episodes have been sooo good.

My new book, Slowly Living, is out now on paperback! It’s about a woman who ages very slowly over the course of about 2,000 years, with every chapter showcasing her at a different stage in her life. Ebook coming soon! a.co/d/06HRo62R

episode 5 has one of my favorite fights in a Genndy Show and it's not even a fight

started watching Sym-Bionic Titan for the first time this week and holy shit - blasted through the first 3 episodes and decided it's the kind of show i'd regret not at least spreading out over a month or so - but holy shit !!

NEW VIDEO! 🗣️🔥🔥🔥 "Superhero Fatigue" is a term i've seen getting thrown are for a couple of years now, so I decided to look at a few pieces of media that this term could apply to and see if it holds up. Likes and Reposts Appreciated! youtu.be/KXGwSPGD-Wk

⭐NEW VIDEO🔥 Starfire may never get the focus season that the rest of the Teen Titans received - but that sure as hell can't stop me from talking about her for ~17 minutes !! (link below)

finally watched Among Us this weekend - and yeah this is the best possible outcome for "Among Us Show" !! deeply funny, great cast, and a mystery at its core that you can take as seriously as you'd like - episode 5 especially is a lock for one of my favorite cartoon episodes this year

also sorry for not posting as much this month really anywhere - mostly been playing Persona 3 and questioning if any modicum of youtube success i have ever experienced was a fluke and if i was ever able to write in any meaningful way unrelated experiences (and vastly different levels of enjoyable!)

so this show is stunning and well-written and has this really fun score and sense of place - but the way that Mizu's sword slices through flesh is so fucking satisfying that it's just about the only thing I ever think about (in this show or really just in general)

i enjoyed the MAWS (season?) finale !! not quite mind-blowing, but hits the themes of the season quite nicely while still being actively fun to watch. i actually do think it works shockingly well as a series finale, (i like where they left both relationships) - but still hoping for a S4 !!

somehow just discovered they finally released the last bit of the Teen Titans OST earlier this year - and man i just absolutely adore so many of these tracks !! the harsh piano in the show’s final scene especially heavily influenced the choices I make when scoring my videos -

waited to watch Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender until it was legally released because i'm a good little boy who loves + respects Paramount - and mostly out of ambivalence. it's a visually stunning film with several fun moments... that ultimately refuses to do anything that isn't incredibly safe.

hoping this is great - but releasing 26 episodes in a single day is genuinely worse for the franchise than the movie getting leaked !! insane self inflicted wound !!!!

nooo ToonHive !! don't just make up a headline that doesn't fit the article at all !!!! no !!!!!! (the "enthusiasm" mentioned is that of the other studios in the project, and has nothing to do with Register's thoughts on the actual movie)

Ample @amplesamuel.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

watching so much Side Quests for this video broke me so I’m taking a break to watch TADC now. hoping to develop some topical hot takes any moment !!

unfortunately predictable first impressions outta Side Quests from me:

120

Ample @amplesamuel.bsky.social · 28/06/2026

things i cut from this video due to time: - Catherine O’Hara plays Parker’s Mom?! - Dee turns into a human-Snake hybrid for a couple days before molting live on stage - there’s an episode where Dee and Parker “try to be lesbians” - there is full frontal nudity in episode 3 and then never again

I’ve been spending the last month or so primarily thinking about Deltarune, Bojack Horseman, and The Amazing Digital Circus so this video was a good reminder that non woke media exists

🎥NEW VIDEO🎬 6 weeks ago, I discovered a quasi-forgotten about Canadian cartoon from ~15 years ago, "Producing Parker". Since then, it has consumed the vast majority of my waking thoughts, and I fear it has bonded with my soul in ways that I'll never fully understand or recover from. (link below)
