But if you live below a recent burn scar, on an alluvial fan, or get your water from an area that has recently burned, I would do some research on how to prepare for the coming storm. 020

These types of storms destabilize slopes that are susceptible to landslides, which includes slopes that have been destabilized by fire! 120
